I’ve spent a huge part of this past week clearing photos from my iPhone because my obsessive photography habits had totally jammed the phone making it virtually impossible to take any new photos without having to delete some.  I should probably mention right now that I’m very bad at regularly downloading and clearing my phone.

Nonetheless, going through all 6 months worth of photos made me realize just how many pictures of food I had taken..a true testament to my love of a fine meal and sugar! It also made me realize just how much I had travelled as a lot of these amazing plates were consumed outside Paris.  Salades and sorbets and crepes and tartes and chouquettes and lots and lots of fish.  I have had some ok meals but also some incredible and very memorable ones since I arrived.  I thought these photos were worthy of their own post.

As the fabulous Virginia Woolf said: “One cannot think well, love well, sleep well, if one has not dined well.”  Amen to that.
