Photo of the week(end)

Place Concorde, ParisThis weekend in Paris was amazing.  For many reasons.  And unlike many past weekends, I feel like I blinked and it was gone.  It was eventful and wonderful and most especially memorable because it was filled with many firsts.  It was a weekend full of discovery.  We packed so much into 2 days and a half, it feels like a week just reflecting on all the things we did.  More pictures to follow on that however I wanted to share this stunning photograph with you taken yesterday morning…

The stunning Place de la Concorde bedecked by the needle and the impressive grande roue under a cloudy blanket of a winter sky.  The night before we took a ride on this big wheel (cheesy I know but still romantic!) and watched the lights of Paris twinkle  from a birds-eye view.  In that moment, I thought how lucky am I to live in one of the most beautiful cities in the world and to get to enjoy it with one of my favorite people in this world… enormously lucky if you ask me.
