Falafel in the Marais

As I wandered the streets of the Marais a few Sundays ago, I was delighted to come across a traditional Falafel-serving eatery with a take-out window that had a swarm of people around it.  I was missing home and craving the flavors i know and so I succumbed to an ultra-greasy, ultra-delicious falafel sandwich in a freshly baked comfortingly warm pita bread that was stuffed with cabbage leaves, 3 balls of falafel, generous portions of salad, fried eggplant and the delicious sauce.  Oh boy, Im craving that again just looking at it.

I must confess that I typically avoid this back home because it’s fried and oh soo bad for you but being homesick excuses anything and i had forgotten that it is oh sooo goooood!!

Happy Sunday everyone!  Don’t forget to indulge!

  1. I have actually been to this restaurant before with my cousin for lunch! I can’t remember what I ate but I remember it being pretty good. You should go back one day for lunch (or dinner? not sure if they serve dinner)!

  2. No kidding! What are the chances! Will try to go back for lunch!! Thanks for the tip Amelie! ( :
